As a result, any list describing the models offering the greatest range is bound to change on a regular basis. This is true because new players are being added, but also because manufacturers are constantly improving their offering. So, as of March 2023, here are the 10 electric vehicles with the longest range on the market in 2023.<\/p>\n

1. LUCID AIR: 516 MILES OR 830 KILOMETERS<\/span><\/h3>\n

The\u00a0Lucid Air<\/a>\u00a0sedan is still new and very exclusive, but since it was unveiled, its range of over 800 km has impressed everyone. It also gives us an idea of what we can expect in a few years’ time.<\/p>\n

2. TESLA MODEL S: 405 MILES OR 652 KILOMETERS<\/span><\/h3>\n

There’s no doubt that Tesla has dominated the electric car market since its arrival in the industry. This is true not only in terms of sales, but also in terms of range, where its models have always done very well. With the exception of the Lucid Air, the Model S has always dominated the charts in this respect. It remains a benchmark in this field.<\/p>\n

3. TESLA MODEL X: 348 MILES OR 560 KILOMETERS<\/span><\/h3>\n

Unsurprisingly, other Tesla models feature on the list, and while range is slightly less when scrolling down the list of this brand’s vehicles, we’re never far behind the benchmark that is the Model S. The Model X, with more than 500 kilometers of freedom, satisfies its buyers in this respect.<\/p>\n

4. MERCEDES-EQ EQS 450: 340 MILES OR 547 KILOMETERS<\/span><\/h3>\n

Mercedes-Benz is coming out with several new electric models, and they’re no slouches when it comes to range. It’s no surprise, then, that the EQS 450, the electric version of the S-Class sedan – the benchmark for luxury in this category – comes in fourth place.<\/p>\n

5. TESLA MODEL Y: 330 MILES OR 531 KILOMETERS<\/span><\/h3>\n

Tesla’s smallest SUV offers almost as much range as its big brother, with a maximum possibility of almost 560 kilometers. A true rising star within the company, the Model Y lives up to the expectations the company has placed in it.<\/p>\n

6. RIVIAN R1T: 328 MILES OR 528 KILOMETERS<\/span><\/h3>\n

Rivian has been offering vehicles since September 2020, and the two models it markets – the R1T pickup truck and the R1S SUV – do very well in terms of range, with capacities exceeding 500 kilometers. In the case of the pickup truck, we’re talking about the first model to be marketed by the brand, while the SUV is due to arrive here very soon. Some models are already on the road in the USA.<\/p>\n

7. BMW IX: 324 MILES OR 521 KILOMETERS<\/span><\/h3>\n

BMW is also investing heavily in electrification, and its efforts are beginning to bear fruit. The iX SUV, in particular, impresses with a range of over 500 kilometers. With its unique, distinctive styling, it leaves no one indifferent. Like it or not, it delivers the goods.<\/p>\n

8. RIVIAN R1S: 321 MILES OR 517 KILOMETERS<\/span><\/h3>\n

\"Rivian<\/p>\n

This is Rivian’s second vehicle. It offers slightly fewer electric kilometers due to its slightly heavier weight. What’s important to understand is that it benefits from essentially the same components as its cousin, the R1T. Ironically, it was the R1S that originally had a few kilometers more range, but the figures have been revised. It’s important to understand that range is influenced by a host of factors, including the design and type of tires chosen.<\/p>\n

9. FORD F-150 LIGHTNING: 320 MILES OR 515 KILOMETERS<\/span><\/h3>\n

In its longest-range configuration, the\u00a0Ford\u00a0F-150 Lightning<\/a>\u00a0is up to the task. However, the challenge with a pickup called upon to work is energy conservation in towing situations. This is more of an issue for Ford than for Rivian, as we imagine this vehicle towing loads from time to time, whereas the owner of a Ford F-150 is used to towing loads on a more regular basis.<\/p>\n

It will be interesting to see how the majority of F-150 Lightnings are used by their owners.<\/p>\n

10. BMW I7: 318 MILES OR 512 KILOMETERS<\/span><\/h3>\n

Finally, it’s the new BMW i7 that currently ranks 10th<\/sup>\u00a0when it comes to range. It would have been disappointing not to see this model among the best, given its position in the German manufacturer’s range.<\/p>\n
