4 – Hyundai Ioniq 6

Finding a generic carmaker in fourth place with an affordable product is interesting. Thanks to its highly aerodynamic design, the Ioniq 6 cuts through the air more efficiently, so the energy required to move it is less, which explains the greater range. In the case of this magnificent car, the range is an impressive 550 kilometres.

5 – Polestar 2

The Polestar 2 from Volvo’s electric division stands a little taller but still promises an interesting 515 kilometres of freedom, which remains excellent and allows for longer recharging intervals. And like all the cars that precede it in this ranking, the Polestar 2 offers superior driving pleasure and handling, thanks to its position closer to the ground than electric SUVs.

6 – BMW i4

With a 512-kilometer range with a full charge, the BMW i4 is well positioned in relation to its rivals, especially as it comes at a surprisingly attractive price, considering its origins. And when you’re behind the wheel, credit where it’s due: the i4 offers a BMW-style driving experience that’s very, very pleasant.

7 – BMW i7

The same goes for the i7, the largest electric sedan in the German manufacturer’s family. The price isn’t the same at around $150,000, but at least the range is worth the name at some 505 kilometres. And how else can we describe the driving experience other than using the word « exceptional »?

8 – Mercedes-EQ EQS

You’ll have to pay close to $200,000 to get your hands on the electric version of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, but it’s quite a machine you’ll have in your hands. And it’ll let you drive 490 kilometres before you need to think about recharging, all in total comfort.

9 – Mercedes-EQ EQE

Suppose you’d like to stay with Mercedes-Benz but with a more affordable solution. In that case, the electric version of the E-Class, the category just below the S-Class, will offer you everything you want, with cutting-edge technology, a high level of performance, and all the comfort you could wish for. And the range, at 480 km, is acceptable.

10 – BMW i5

Lastly, the BMW i5 is an extraordinary car with a range of 475 kilometres. The driving experience with this sedan is closer to that of a BMW i4 than an i7, but the level of comfort, refinement and sense of affluence that emanates from this model is second to none. It’s one to put on your shopping list.
