The DCC-12 is the ideal solution for connecting a charging station to a new circuit without affecting the charge calculation when space is available to add a circuit breaker. Unlike the DCC-9 and DCC-11, there is no circuit breaker inside the DCC-12 acting as an intermediary between the charging station and the electrical panel.
The DCC-12 is an electric vehicle charge controller specifically designed to enable a charging station to be connected to an electrical panel that would otherwise not have sufficient capacity for the connection.
FUNCTIONING
– Real-time reading of energy consumption from the home's electrical panel;
– Detects when total energy consumption exceeds 80% of the main circuit breaker's capacity and temporarily cuts power to the charging station;
– Automatically recharges the charging station when the total power consumption of the electrical panel falls below 80% of its capacity for more than 15 minutes.
