Subsidies for condos and apartments

Are you an owner or tenant of a condo or apartment building and looking to install charging stations? You may be eligible for financial assistance for the purchase, leasing, and installation of one or more 240-volt charging stations for condos or apartments.

THE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROVIDED CAN REACH UP TO:

• 50% of eligible expenses
• $5,000 per charging station
• $5,000 per connector (for a charging station with one or more connectors)
• Each year, an eligible building can obtain financial assistance of up to:
  • 20 000 $ for a building with 3 to 9 units;
  • 40 000 $ for a building with 10 to 19 units;
  • 49 000 $ for a building with 20 or more units

For leasing charging stations, financial assistance is also available:

• $500 per charging station
• $500 per connector (for a charging station with one or more connectors)
• 50% of expenses related to their installation.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for this program, the charging stations must be new and powered by a 240-volt power source. Only one charging station per vehicle can be funded by a single applicant at the same address.

In addition, applicants seeking financial assistance for the rental of charging stations must provide a lease agreement demonstrating that they meet the eligibility conditions of the program and maintain the charging station in service for at least three years.
