SUBVENTIONS FOR STANDARD VEHICLE ELECTRIFICATION

PROGRAM
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

Intended for companies that own or are in the process of acquiring at least one electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle. This program applies to vehicle fleets.

50% of all expenses incurred up to a maximum of $150,000 per charging station of 49.9 kW or less and $60,000 per charging station of 50 kW or more.

Limit of $150,000 in subsidies per address per year.

For use by company-owned fleet vehicles only.

 

ROULEZ VERT PROGRAM
PLUG IN AT WORK
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

This program offers very interesting subsidies to help you install charging stations in the workplace. This means that your employees can benefit from it, whether or not they pay a fee.

ELIGIBILITY:
This program is aimed at businesses registered with the Québec Business Registrar, municipalities, and public organizations with an establishment in Québec. Any establishment is eligible for this subsidy, provided that it is not used for residential purposes.

SUBSIDY AMOUNT
Up to 50% of eligible expenses up to a maximum of: • $5,000 per wireless charging station • $5,000 per connector (for a station with one or more connectors)

 

MULTILOGEMENT
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

Intended for residents of multi-unit buildings who own an electric vehicle, owners of multi-unit buildings, real estate developers, property managers, real estate owners, or condominium associations.

50% of all expenses incurred up to a maximum of $5,000 per connector.

Subsidy limit of $20,000 per address per year for 3 to 9 dwellings, $40,000 for 10 to 19 dwellings, and $49,000 for 20 or more dwellings.

For use by electric vehicles belonging to residents of the building and electric vehicles belonging to visitors of residents of the building.

 

PIVEZ
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

Currently closed, but expected to open in the spring.

Intended for public utilities – electricity, businesses, industry associations, indigenous businesses and community groups, condominium corporations
(strata or condo), provincial, territorial, regional, or municipal governments in Canada, as well as their departments or agencies, where applicable.

Minimum of two 50 kW charging stations accessible 24/7 or at least as often as the site host.

Possibility of installing a single 50 kW charging station and more if 20 Level 2 connectors are also installed. To find out the eligible amounts.

 

RECHARGE+
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

For private sector organizations (for-profit or non-profit)
• be a member or major partner of Propulsion Québec

Regarding the public sector, only the following organizations are accepted:
• be a collaborating organization that contributes to the transition of vehicle fleets, promotes experimentation and innovation, and/or collaborates on a project or activity related to the electrification of transportation.

• provincial, regional, or municipal government bodies, as well as their public institutions, agencies, and Crown corporations (including public service providers) in Quebec.

Recharge+ finances the purchase and installation of Level 2 charging stations and fast charging stations up to a maximum of $100,000 per application.

 

MONTRÉAL
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

$5,000 per connector for a Level 2 charging station (provided that all connectors can be used at the same time and that each vehicle has a parking space during charging)

  • $15,000 per fast charging station from 20 kW to 49 kW
  • $50,000 per 50 kW and 99 kW fast charging station
  • $75,000 per fast charging station of 100 kW or more
  • Businesses, hotels, industries: 50% Combined with Roulez Vert: total 75%

 

SUBSIDIES FOR THE ELECTRIFICATION OF HEAVY VEHICLES

IVZE PROGRAM
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
The federal government has established the Medium and Heavy-Duty Zero Emission Vehicle Incentive Program (iVMLZE), which allows Transport Canada to offer subsidies of up to $200,000. This program was launched in July 2022 and will provide approximately $550 million in funding for the purchase or lease of medium and heavy-duty vehicles over the next four years.

ELIGIBILITY:
This applies to the purchase or lease of new freight and service road transport vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of over 8,500 pounds. This includes transport trucks, shuttles, ambulances, and vans. These vehicles must be registered in Canada in the name of the company or organization to which they belong.

- Up to $200,000

TRANSPORTEZ VERT
PROGRAM
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
This program is reserved for businesses with a fleet of heavy or light road vehicles that want to install direct current fast charging stations (DCFC). Divided into three parts, the program offers support for energy management (grant up to $100,000), technology acquisition (grant up to $200,000), and eco-driving training (grant up to $30,000).

ELIGIBILITY:
This program is available to businesses registered with the Registraire des entreprises du Québec, municipalities, and public organizations with a facility in Québec. However, applicants must own or operate a fleet of road vehicles to be eligible for this grant.

SUBSIDY AMOUNT
- Part 1: Up to $100,000
- Part 2: Up to $200,000
- Part 3: Up to $30,000

TRANSPORTEZ VERT
- ECOCAMIONNAGE PROGRAM
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
This subsidy program is for businesses, organizations, or municipalities that use one or more heavy or light vehicles for commercial purposes. The program includes four components: technology acquisition, acquisition of used heavy vehicles, a logistics project, and finally, a collaborative project of shared and electric delivery.

ELIGIBILITY:
Unlike other programs, the amount of the subsidy you will receive will be assessed on a case-by-case basis following the presentation of your project.
